The Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office is still conducting an investigation against Davor Dragicevic in a case of endangering the security of Interior Minister Dragan Lukac.
For more than two years, the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka has been conducting an investigation into endangering security and incitement against Davor Dragicevic, Ozren Perduv and Sofia Grmusa. A few days ago, a decision was made that an order was issued against Perduv and Grmuša not to conduct an investigation any longer.
Ozren Perduv, one of the most prominent members of the Justice for David group said that he had sent a letter to the prosecutor a few days before the decision was made.
“I wrote to the prosecutor who has been “investigating” against me, Sofia and Davor for “endangering the security of Minister” Dragan Lukac over two years. I warned the prosecutor that if he does not make a decision to suspend the investigation within a month, I will report it to the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor, that I will appear in all media and that I will personally protest in front of the Prosecutor’s Office,” Perduv points out.
He notes that after two days, he received an answer in which the prosecutor justifies herself by the fact that the case is complex, and that she is the fourth prosecutor in line in that case.
“Sofia and I received a new letter from the prosecutor on February 8th, 2021, in which they are informing us that the “INVESTIGATION” against us was suspended. However, I noticed that the case was registered under a different number, so I sent a letter to the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office, again, to clarify what was in question”, said Perduv.
The response states that the competent prosecutor who conducted the proceedings against Davor Dragicevic, Ozren Perduv and Sofija Grmusa, issued an order to separate the proceedings of Perduv and Grmusa in the proceedings against Davor Dragicevic, and to issue an order not to conduct an investigation against Perduv and Grmuša, while Davor Dragicevic is still under investigation.
