The District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka confirmed for N1 that they had received a request from the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina for an insight into the “Dragicevic” case. However, when asked whether that specifically means taking over the case, they do not answer decisively.

“On February 22nd, 2021, the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka received a request from the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to submit the case for inspection related to the death of David Dragicevic.”

They claim that the investigation into the murder of David Dragicevic is ongoing.

“Yes, this Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation in the criminal case against unidentified persons for the criminal offense of murder under Article 124, paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 37 of the Criminal Procedure Code, committed to the detriment of David Dragicevic from Banja Luka.

The Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office has so far undertaken numerous and appropriate investigative actions in order to complete the investigation in this criminal case by discovering the perpetrators of the criminal offense and clarifying all the facts and circumstances under which the criminal offense was committed. “

The District Public Prosecutor’s Office states that the acting prosecutor in the mentioned case is still Dalibor Vreco.
