The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina launched an investigation against Dalida Burzic, Meris Cato, Vahid Cosic, Seval Kovacevic and two other Sarajevo policemen in the case of Dzenan Memic

The investigation relates to the criminal offense of murder, organized crime related to criminal offenses, assisting the perpetrator after the crime has been committed and preventing evidence.

Today, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an official order to initiate an investigation in the case of “Dzenan Memic” against seven persons, among other things, for the crime of murder, the “Avaza” portal learns.

It is about a young man who was killed in February 2016 in the Great Alley in Ilidza under still unexplained circumstances. The family claims from the first day that Dzenan, who was in the company of his then-girlfriend Alisa Mutap, was killed. They have been waiting for justice for seven years!

We learn that the investigation, as things stand, has been launched against holders of judicial functions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers…

According to unofficial information from “Avaza”, an investigation has been launched against the current judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and former chief prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office Dalida Burzic, former prosecutor of the KS Prosecutor’s Office Meris Cato, police officer of the KS MUP Sakib Krema, former police commissioner of the KS MUP Vahid Cosic, but also traffic expert Seval Kovacevic and unknown persons.

At the time of the crime, Burzic was the chief cantonal prosecutor, Cosic was the police commissioner, Cato the cantonal prosecutor, Kremo in the Criminal Police Department.

Which crimes

The investigation relates to the criminal offense of murder, organized crime related to criminal offenses, assistance to the perpetrator after the crime has been committed, and prevention of evidence.

On October 5, 2018, the lawyer of the Memic family, Ifet Feraget, filed a criminal complaint against these persons.

According to “Avaza” information, the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina will ask the HJPC today to suspend Burzic, the current judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The same applies to police officers of the KS MUP.

We remind you, “Avaz” wrote two days ago that new evidence, as well as witness statements, including key protected witnesses, confirm the allegations that Dzenan was murdered, and that those who ordered his murder, as well as the murderers, were hiding for years.

Who is already on trial

Alisa Ramić (née Mutap), the ex-girlfriend of the tragically killed young man, her father Zijad Mutap, two police officers Hasan Dupovac and Josip Barić and Muamer Ožegović, an employee of the “Crystal” hotel, are on trial for covering up and concealing evidence. But in parallel with this process, the Prosecution has new evidence and witnesses.
