Re-submitted request to the District Public Prosecutor’s Office for EXPLANATION regarding case number T13 0 KT 0055622 21

On April 9th, 2021 Sofija Grmuša and Ozren Perduv sent a request to the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka to provide them with access to information related to certain cases. The acting prosecutor in this case is Tanja Mrdja.

Namely, 08.02.2021 activists Sofija Grmusa and Ozren Perduv were informed that the District Public Prosecutor’s Office had issued an order suspending the investigation against Sofija Grmusa and Ozren Perduv for the criminal offense of endangering security under Article 150/2 of the Republic of Srpska Criminal Code, in conjunction with Article 28 of the Republic of Srpska Criminal Code. Also by letter dated 15th of February 2021 you informed us that the proceedings against Davor Dragicevic were separated from the proceedings against Sofija Grmusa and Ozren Perduv.

The response from the District Public Prosecutor’s Office arrived quickly, but the response was again only a notice that the proceedings against Sofija Grmusa and Ozren Perduv were terminated and that the proceedings against Davor Dragičević were separated from theirs, and that there was no explanation as to why. Therefore, Sofija Grmusa and Ozren Perduv once again submitted a request to the District Public Prosecutor’s Office to be granted access to information on the basis of the Law on Freedom of Access to Information in the Republikc of Srpska, in connection with case number T13 0 KT 0055622 21 “, the request states.

“I hereby ask you once again to provide me with an explanation of the order to suspend the investigation against me and Ozren Perduv,” said Sofija Grmusa.
