The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is the world’s largest regional security organization, with 57 member states. Established as a regional mediator in accordance with Chapter VIII of the United Nations. The OSCE is a forum for political negotiation, with an emphasis on conflict prevention, crisis management and post-conflict recovery. Decisions made by the OSCE are more political than legally binding, and are made by consensus.
The Citizens’ Association “The Path of Justice”, founded by some human rights activists Justice for David, sent a number of letters to the OSCE institution. The persistence of the activists resulted in a meeting of lawyer Ifet Feraget with the representatives of this institution in 2020. Cooperation continued with requests for meetings of representatives of the OSCE institution with human rights activists “Justice for David” who are engaged in the citizens’ association “The Path of Justice”. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, January the 25th 2021 at 2:00 p.m. At the meeting, the activists will seek the continuation of formal cooperation with this institution and look for further ways to act in this direction.
