The Association of Citizens “Path of Justice” Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, founded by human rights activists “Justice for David” and the humanitarian organization “Justice for David and All Children of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, filed a complaint with the Human Rights Ombudsman Institution refers to the work of the Office of the Disciplinary Counsel.
The Association of Citizen states that on February 24, 2022, they sent a request for access to information to the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor regarding data analysis of monitoring prosecutorial decisions conducted as part of the project “Anti-Corruption Campaign and Raising Public Awareness of the Prosecutor’s Office in Republic of Srpska” , and that they need concrete data in order to conduct the mentioned activity as relevant and transparent as possible and on the basis of which they could conclude the mentioned research.
“Since more than 15 days have passed since we sent a request for access to information, and we have not received any feedback from the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor, we sent an emergency to the institution and complained to the Human Rights Ombudsman Institution in BiH. that they will use their powers and authorities to get the requested information as soon as possible “, they said from Justice for David.
