Citizens gathered around the informal group “Justice for David” reported a few days ago that they were followed by a black Audi A 6 at gatherings on Krajina Square, but also in some cases on the way home. When the citizens were gathered in the square, the vehicle was parked in the street next to Petar Kocic Park, and the citizens announced in the FB group “Justice for David” that it was driven by police officer N.B. (24) from Cesma.
Ozren Perduv from the group “Justice for David” told Gerila info that there has been no Audi since the citizens informed the public that the vehicle was following them. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska and the Police Administration of Banja Luka have not yet answered our questions regarding the mentioned vehicle. We asked them what the need for monitoring citizens who are looking for the truth about the murder of 21-year-old David Dragicevic is based on, whether there is a court order for monitoring citizens or whether it is a self-initiated action of a 24-year-old police officer.
David Dragicevic was killed in March 2018, the investigation conducted by the Banja Luka District Prosecutor’s Office did not answer a single question in three years, and the public justifiably suspects that some members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs were directly or indirectly involved in the murder. The investigation into the murder of David Dragicevic, after inspecting the case, was taken over by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina a few days ago.
The trial was supposed to start before the Banja Luka Basic Court last week of inspectors Mikica Marijanac and Zoran Bosnjak, who are charged with the criminal offense of Preventing Evidence, but the hearing was not held because the Prosecutor’s Office informed the Court that the acting Prosecutor had corona and that the Prosecutor’s Office failed to find a replacement.
By the way, the acting prosecutor in the case is Dalibor Vreco, which is why the activists of “Justice for David” protested, claiming that the prosecutor should not be part of the case for several reasons. Citizens believe that Vreco, among others, is responsible for covering up the case and preventing a real investigation into the murder of David Dragicevic.
