Activists of the citizens’ association “Path of Justice” – Justice for David were in Trebinje today, where they set up the fifth promotional stand as part of the anti-corruption campaign and raising public awareness about the work of the Republic of Srpska Prosecutor’s Office. As part of the process of obtaining permission to set up the stand, activists encountered a number of obstructions and difficulties. The consent procedure itself took more than a month. In the original request, the activists asked for permission to set up a stand in the central city square. After the decision finally arrived the day before the organization of the stand, the administration of the city of Trebinje changed its location. The second assigned location was very unconditional and inaccessible and far from the town square and the maintenance of the activity itself was very difficult. After the weather deteriorated rapidly, activists were forced to remove the stand. Considering that the activists have successfully visited four cities in Republika Srpska as part of the campaign, we point out that the administration of the city of Trebunje has so far shown the greatest degree of non-cooperation and made it even more difficult to hold a stand, fill out a survey and sign a petition. Despite all the above, and the difficult weather conditions, the activists successfully realized the stand.
