21.04. is a date that has multiple meanings and that the group Justice for David will remember forever after the first big gathering that was organized shortly after the murder of David Dragicevic. This 21.04. was in 2018. Three years after that event, which was marked as the first large gathering of Justice for David, a main trial will be held on the same date for crime technicians who are charged with destroying the crown evidence (David’s underwear).
On this occasion, the group Justice for David created an event on its Facebook page inviting citizens to attend the hearing that will be held in the Basic Court on April 21, 2021.
The Basic Court in Banja Luka has set a date for the start of the trial of the crime technicians of the Banja Luka Police Administration, Mikica Marjanac and Zoran Bosnjak, accused of destroying material evidence in the investigation into the murder of David Dragicevic.
According to the indictment, Marjanac and Bosnjak threw the boxers, which were transferred to the deposit of the Banja Luka Police Administration on March 25, 2018, after the autopsy of the body of the murdered young man, ie to the room for drying objects. The indictment does not cover Inspector Sinisa Kojdic, superior to the crime technicians, who is also responsible for the disappearance, ie. destroying David’s underwear. The mentioned “prosecutor” Vreco suspended the investigation against Kojdic.
Therefore, in order to prevent or complicate the evidence, they destroyed the object that serves as evidence, thus committing the criminal offense of “preventing evidence” – the indictment alleges.
The indictment against the crime technician was filed in September 2018, and the accused pleaded guilty in December 2018, ie January 2019.
